What was the inspiration behind the High Summer '22 collection?
The focus of this collection was completely on bold, punchy, contrasting colours. We wanted the palette to feel retro and slightly nostalgic but still fresh; filled with bright excitement that would lift the mood of anyone experiencing it.

Discovering the new accessories category of the bond-eye collection, can you speak to what inspired this new addition?
We wanted to create cute pieces that would pair back effortlessly with the existing bond-eye collection, giving a colour pop that would complete the look. The Simone Top with baggy jeans and a headband is going to be my off-beach summer look all season.
Can you tell us a bit more about the colours of the collection?
High-impact colours are the centre of the bond-eye brand, the High Summer '22 collection shades are more paired back than previously but still true to bond-eye, there’s a perfect colour for every taste – understated neutrals like Citron, or bright and punchy hues like Sunny. I’m also adoring Dusk + Dawn, the ombre colours we’ve introduced for this season, I feel they’re just the perfect soft, melty hues for the sunshine.

Can you speak to the collection highlights in terms of the fabrication?
We’re constantly looking for ways to innovate with new crinkle creations, for High Summer '22 collection we chose to introduce shimmer, a new bound crinkle that's ultra soft and luxe. It pairs back perfectly with our unique BOUND eco crinkle that we run all our matte colours in. We're always wanting to keep sustainability at front of mind, so offering the majority of our colours in an eco fabrication is paramount to the collection.

Can you tell us how you like to wear your swim + a few collection highlights?
I’m loving the minimal strapping look, so my absolute favourites for the season are the new Wilma Bandeau + Larisa Brief, with the Drew Dress thrown over the top after a swim.
